im a very heavy sleeper. even if a bomb exploded, i still wont wake up.
this theory has been proven on me. literally.
for those who have been to my house, and noticed, there is some sort of industrial park cum factory across the road.
100+ metres away. i think.
previously, i suspected that a secret spy association was running it. since nooooo sounds whatsoever was emmitted from it.
and then last night. around 3am.
there was this BOOOOMMMM sound. super loud. i heard it around 5 times.
and i was utterly pissed. cos it was disrupting my sleep. i groaned, turned over, and fell asleep again.
APPARENTLY. there was a huge fire, around 8-9 storeys high.
6 fire engines came with close to a hundred of the civil defence people. who were screaming instructions and making alot of noise.
and i slept through this. WOAO!
according to my mother, who was very excitedly re-telling me the whole story when i came back from school,
the fire was damn scary. and she could feel the heat from the windows where she stood.
alot of kpo singaporeans who were standing around, took out their phones and started taking pics/videos.
one KIASU singaporean. i laughed so hard at this. instantly woke up her grandchildren, packed all their stuff and left.
HA.
my mother said. the civil defence was very impressive. at this point, she started to run around the living room, shouting gibberish. as an imitation of the civil defence force,
and i quote her. 'it was so interesting! i felt like joining them LAH!'
well. how often do you get to watch the civil defence in action. as in REAL action. not the one at exhibitions where somebody faints, and all the men somersault to save her.
when i woke up for school, i noticed the large commotion. and finally linked the explosions to the fire. apparently, sth chemical-ish exploded.
and again, i slept through this. my handphone alarm wakes me up. but industrial explosions, i ignore.
for some stupid reason. cyndi lauper's Girls Just Wanna Have Fun was stuck in my head throughout the MT paper.
i think cos. shaowen + steph around me, therefore, i think of friendship and girls, therefore, the song?
this is the only sensible link i can make.
today, the spongebob episode. invloved squidward and spongebob being genetically stuck together.
then. Mr. Krabs asked them to continue working. spongebob happily agrees.
